Canstar Blue surveyed 970 Australians for their feedback on the cooktop brand(s) they’ve installed in their home and used in the last six months.
The winning brand is the one that receives the highest overall satisfaction rating once all the scores from the overall satisfaction criteria are combined and averaged.
Brands must have received at least 30 responses to be included, so not all brands available in the market have been compared in this survey. The brands rated in this survey are listed below in order of best overall satisfaction.

Smeg is a household appliance brand that sells a range of products including kettles, toasters, ovens, refrigerators and coffee machines. The brand’s cooktops come in ceramic, electric plate, gas, induction, mixed and flat-top options.
Fisher & Paykel manufactures a variety of home appliances from refrigerators and washing machines to air conditioners and grills. The brand’s cooktops range from $1,299 to $9,999 and come in induction, electric, gas and combination varieties.
